Package applicability is under review; follow the stated version and platform limits.

Before starting

Use InductEx® 8 with the matching Studio/Core installation. Keep a writable working copy of the complete project and its dependencies. Source-derived steps still require execution review on the intended package.

Steps

  1. Open the generated .msh from Artifacts, Results or File > Open. Use fit-all and the orientation marker to establish the view.
  2. Use Groups and Inspector to inspect individual conductors. Use probe, measure and clipping controls when the file provides the required information.
  3. For field output, request the intended Plot values and sampling plane, run the saved IXI and open the current VTK. Select the actual excitation/frequency and real or imaginary array that was emitted; the dedicated field guide provides complete checked inputs.
  4. Apply the field view, then choose component, density and range. Use matching ranges for comparisons and keep Show model mesh off for the checked metre/micrometre mismatch (KB-GUI-010); export a snapshot when needed.

Checked generated-mesh route

For the complete inline strip, the actual staged sequence generated output/strip.msh. Opening that file through the production File Open action and fitting the native software view displayed the segmented mesh. The 16038-node, 3780-element file is distinct from the 20-triangle coarse Premesh retained in Live Mesh by the current candidate (KB-GUI-009).

VAL-024 covers opening the generated mesh and VAL-026 covers its native viewer actions. VAL-027 adds generated B/J field controls, with explicit component, density and range recovery. The dedicated field guide retains the open model-overlay scale and VTK-title findings.

Check the result

A snapshot records the visible canvas. Hidden groups and clipping affect the view, not the mesh passed to the solver.

Confirm quantity, units and excitation. Arrow/streamline density changes presentation, not solver accuracy or convergence.

If the problem remains

For a missing field array or model context, check the requested output and matching mesh. An invalid manual range retains the last valid view; read the diagnostic.

Inspect one conductor without changing the calculation

Open the current generated .msh and use Fit all to establish the view. In Groups, Hide and Show affect all displayed groups. Isolate keeps the chosen group visible; Fade lowers its opacity and changes to Opaque so you can restore it. Ghost changes the group presentation and offers Unghost to reverse it. These actions help expose geometry that would otherwise be obscured.

In the checked strip, twelve physical groups were displayed. Isolating M1_Hex left one visible group, Fade set its opacity to approximately 35% and Ghost changed its presentation. Show, Opaque and Unghost restored the view. Surface, surface-and-edge and edge-only toolbar controls also produced distinct states. The saved input files and actual generated mesh bytes remained unchanged.

Probe, measure and clip with the available identity

Use Enable probe, then select a visible position on the mesh. Inspect the returned information rather than assuming the hit identifies an original solver element. The checked software-rendered route returned geometry hits, but source triangle/cell identity was unavailable; the report explicitly said source unavailable. A displayed group or generated triangle is not sufficient to reconstruct a missing source-cell identity.

Use Measure and select two visible mesh points. The checked picks produced a positive distance of 11.765 in displayed mesh-coordinate units. Confirm the coordinate scale and source metadata before converting that value to a physical distance. The measurement alone does not establish units or dimensional accuracy. Return to navigation mode when finished.

Enable Z+ clipping exposes geometry below a plane; Reset clipping restores the unclipped model. The checked toolbar actions activated and cleared the clip. Clipping changes the view, so restore the intended plane/group state before exporting a snapshot.

The actual clipped mesh appears beside the Inspector, whose safe file summary identifies strip.msh.

Export and reopen the intended view

Use Export snapshot on the mesh toolbar to write the current canvas and its companion support report. The dedicated snapshot guide explains the normal save route, cancellation and retry after a write failure. Review the report before sharing it: the checked report retained an absolute source path.

A separate Studio process restored the recorded group visibility, approximately 35% opacity and main render mode when reopening the saved mesh. Probe and distance selections started fresh. This check used the existing single-tab restart workaround; it does not establish that every viewer control or multi-tab workspace state persists.

Worked field-plot route

The dedicated B/J guide now supplies a complete three-file ZIP and records normal generation plus native array/component/density/range controls. It also explains why a retained valid range can differ from invalid typed endpoints and why a selected imaginary vector magnitude is not a complex-amplitude plot.

Show model mesh is not accepted for the checked field/model unit mismatch (KB-GUI-010), and the B VTK generic title is misleading (KB-OUTPUT-001). Keep the known generated request and full array identity together. Field-only data/display checks remain distinct from physical field accuracy.

The actual B plane heatmap displays the selected 10.000GHz_p1_imag vector magnitude, 293 finite tuples and generated B units in Studio.

Sources and verification details

Recorded inputs/builds only. Complete walkthrough and final-package acceptance remain separate.

VAL-024 · Frozen Windows Studio source candidate with normal Core 8.0.1 dispatch, 3 November 2026; final distributed-package acceptance pending
Normal licensed Initialise / Reset, Premesh, Mesh and Run solver; command-order guards, source invalidation/reset, actual generated .msh inspection and separate-process single-tab restart/recovery. Predetermined paths were supplied at production dialog boundaries
Twenty independent checks cover the stated routes. Live Mesh retains Premesh after Mesh with IXI_PREMESH_SNAPSHOT_KIND_INVALID (KB-GUI-009); segmented Live Mesh is not accepted. Recalculate is disabled. Physical pickers, field plots, group/view manipulation, complete GUI articles, final distributed packages, other platforms, physical accuracy and mesh convergence remain pending. KB-GUI-006 and KB-GUI-008 remain separate.

VAL-026 · Frozen Windows Studio/Core 8.0.1 source candidate, 3 November 2026; production software renderer

Twenty-one independent checks cover the stated source candidate and software-renderer routes. Paths and cancellation were supplied at production dialog boundaries and picks through the bound viewport event handlers; physical OS input is not qualified. Probe source-cell/triangle identity is unavailable in the checked software path. Distances are mesh coordinates. Field arrays/ranges, Copy/color/group-specific mode edits, final packages and full article acceptance remain pending. The private snapshot report is withheld.

VAL-027 · Windows catalog CLI 8.0.1/TTH 1.1.50 and frozen native Studio/Core source candidate, 3 November 2026
Fresh licensed CLI and normal native B-plane/J generation; exact emitted arrays, displayed magnitude/signed component ranges, array switching, arrows/streamlines/density/size, manual-range rejection/recovery, Solid/reapply and actual snapshot export
Twenty-eight checks distinguish generated-data/display representation from numerical field accuracy.
