Prepare the new installation
- Install the supported package and License Manager for the target OS and architecture. Use the installer rather than copying a program directory and assuming PATH and shortcuts have been configured.
- Generate the new System ID from the intended host/account or remote execution context when support requests it.
- Ask support to confirm transfer, reissue or activation requirements under the actual licence terms. Preserve the existing working setup until the change is coordinated.
- Configure the issued licence path and verify authorisation on a small supplied example.
Keep the terms specific
A hardware-locked licence, online seat and evaluation key can have different restrictions. A successful transfer in an older support thread does not establish universal OS portability, multi-user entitlement or a guaranteed activation time.
