# Studio Run is unavailable

Select an IXI project, check its inputs and licence, and resolve the issues reported by Check and run.

## Check the active document

A GDS layout, LDF process file, result file or ordinary text tab is not itself an extraction project. Select the intended IXI project tab before trying to run.

## Check the project and licence

1. Read Check and run and resolve the reported source or input-file problems.
2. Save the project so the calculation uses the intended inputs.
3. Check the reported licence and daemon status. If the setup was corrected, use Help > About > Retry Licence Check.

## If Run remains unavailable

Record the Studio and Core versions, the active file kind, the exact diagnostic and the licence status. Collect the relevant diagnostic log or a reviewed support bundle when needed.
