SUN Magnetics original capacitor example - input files

Contents: capacitor-demo.ixi and generic-stack.ldf, unchanged from the
verified public InductEx 8 Beta command-line example recorded on 30 October 2026.

Geometry: two aligned 12 x 8 micrometre plates, on layers 1 and 3.
Process: 0.2 micrometre conductor, 0.8 micrometre spacer, 0.2 micrometre conductor.
This original generic geometry and process contain no foundry or customer data.

Starting point
1. Read the InductEx 8 and Studio preview manual for your installed release.
2. Extract both input files into the same writable working directory.
3. Inspect the IXI geometry and relative Process reference to generic-stack.ldf.
4. Follow the documented command-line extraction procedure using the appropriate
installed InductEx release, solver and SUN Magnetics licence.
5. Review the generated mesh and electrical output before interpreting the model.

Recorded evidence
The public 8 Beta command-line example generated 432 triangular surface elements,
a Maxwell capacitance matrix and SPICE capacitance output. Studio inspected and
exported the actual saved mesh and inspected the corresponding saved TTH result.
The website tour is composed from native views; it depicts no new solve in Studio.

Scope
These are illustrative input files, not a foundry model, convergence study,
accuracy benchmark or licence grant. Results depend on release and settings.
Local solver settings, licences, logs and machine-specific paths are excluded.
This input-only archive is not a portable saved-results project and has not been
claimed as a new extraction or a fresh-platform qualification.
